The current version of Grammar Expert Plus does not work this way. Grammar Expert Plus checks text interactively.
Grammar Expert Plus does not integrate into other applications. It works in a stand-alone manner.
If your favorite application doesn't include a grammar checker, contact the publisher and have them contact Wintertree Software. We can license Grammar Expert Plus's grammar, spelling, and thesaurus technology for redistribution with other applications.
Grammar Expert Plus disables the Add button if it doesn't have a valid user dictionary to add words to. Make sure that at least one user dictionary appears in the Add Words To list in the Spelling property page, and that one of the user dictionaries in the list is selected. See "How to add or create user dictionary files" and "How to add personal words to a user dictionary" in the Grammar Expert Plus User's Guide for more information.
Uninstall Grammar Expert Plus then re-install it in the new directory.
Grammar Expert Plus recognizes rich-text format (CF_RTF) and plain text format (CF_TEXT) in the clipboard. Some applications copy their text to the clipboard as plain text and in a proprietary format which Grammar Expert Plus does not recognize. In this case, Grammar Expert Plus sees only the plain text. You might contact the publisher of the other application and ask them to support the CF_RTF format.
Grammar Expert Plus's grammar checker works by searching for patterns in the text it checks. The patterns match common grammar errors, but sometimes they match valid sentences as well. English is a remarkably flexible language that allows words to be combined in a multitude of ways, some of which may confuse a grammar checker. See "Disclaimer and Limitations" in the Grammar Expert Plus User's Guide for more information.
To reduce the number of grammar problems reported, turn off the option in the Grammar and Writing Style property sheets. See "How to prevent reporting of certain problem types" in the Grammar Expert Plus User's Guide for instructions.
To reduce the number of spelling errors reported, set the "Ignore" options in the Spelling Options dialog. Click the Spelling Options button in the Spelling property sheet to open the Spelling Options dialog.
A shortcut key combination will not work if it is assigned to more than one application.
The active application may be processing the shortcut key.
The shortcut key combination you assigned may be invalid. The key combination must be Ctrl + Alt + another key; the other key cannot be Escape, Enter, Tab, Backspace, Space, or Print Screen.
Shortcut keys are Windows features and are not specific to Grammar Expert Plus. Other sources of Windows help (Microsoft support, Web sites, etc.) may help solve the problem.
The current version of Grammar Exper Plus works best with American English. We may produce a UK English version in the future.
